Ingredients
- Active Dry Yeast: 2 tsp active dry yeast.
- Warm Milk: 1 cup warm milk.
- Warm water: 1 cup warm water.
- Whole Wheat Flour: 5 cups whole wheat flour.
- Butter: 2 tsp of melted butter.
- Sugar: 1 tsp of sugar.
- Salt: 1tsp of salt.
- oil: 1tsp of oil.
Instruction
- First take a sauce pan to boil the milk. After it’s gets warm ,pour the milk in a small bowl.
- Then take another small bowl ,dissolve the yeast with warm water and rest it for 5 -10 mins until it becomes foamy.
- Then add two tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of salt and sugar in that hot milk. and mix it really well.
- In a large mixing bowl , add the whole wheat flour and pour the yeast mixture and other wet ingredients and mix it really well until a rough dough forms.
- Then transfer the dough into a clear, dry floured surface. Then knead the dough with hand for about 5-10 mins. You can also use stand mixer for the dough but if you try the knead by hand , it’ll give your dough more soft and perfect shape.
- After kneading, Shape the dough into a ball and let the dough placed in a bowl and rest the dough for 1 hour until it double in size.
- Transfer the dough into a pastry mat and roll it and give it a shape that perfectly fits in your loaf pan. Then grease some oil into the pan, place the dough in it and cover it with plastic wrap and let the dough rest again for another 20 -30 mins.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- When the dough risen in the loaf pan , place them in the preheated oven for 35- 40 mins until it gets golden brown.
- Then remove the bread from oven and place it to another place, and let it cool.
- Lastly, Serve the bread in your serving plate. Slice and Enjoy it with butter, jam, or peanut butter.

- You can combine whole wheat flour with bread flour. Bread flour has higher protein content than whole wheat flour, So it’s able to develop more gluten and gluten gives bread dough more chew and soft.
